New Musical Theater Vocal Workshop

MYAC Musical Theater Workshop offers an intensive week of musical training for singers designed to build confidence both musically and personally through the genre of musical theater.

This workshop will be led by Daniel Ermel, who is not only a distinguished teacher and conductor but also a seasoned performer who understands the industry. Experience a mini "Summer Stock" in this intensive, fun-filled week:

  • Work on performance skills as both a soloist and as an ensemble.

  • Learn audition etiquette, preparation, decision making, etc.

  • Students will gather material to prepare an audition book (contrasting styles, appropriate length of cuts).

  • Participate in a performance at the end of the week (part showcase, part cattle-call-audition-style).

This workshop provides an opportunity for students to experience the training and preparation that it takes to become involved in musical theater. MYAC Musical Theater Workshop is perfect for aspiring singers in Junior High and High School. Graduating High School Seniors are welcome.

This camp does not require an audition. All registrants are accepted!
