Generous donors like you make it possible for MYAC to continue empowering students to dream boldly, follow their passions, and uplift their communities.
Support from donors has allowed MYAC to grow into one of the most comprehensive and influential youth music ensemble programs in the country. Philanthropy covers 40% of MYAC’s program costs.
Your gift will support scholarships, attract inspiring teachers and provide enriching experiences – from rehearsals and classes to clinics, competitions and performances. Donate to preserve the harmonious sounds of choral, jazz and orchestral music, and invest in a future filled with excellence, creativity and beauty.
In-Kind Donations
Non-cash donations help us reduce costs and provide extras that are not always possible in our budget. Please give us a call at 847-926-9898 or email mya@mya.org if you have items you would like to donate.
Non-musical items
Unique items and experiences for the Auction at our Annual Gala such as: sports tickets, concert/play tickets, use of vacation homes, airline miles, professional services, handcrafted items, and wine. We are currently seeking a vehicle to transport large performance equipment for Season 2026-2027 events.
Musical items
Recording equipment (mics, speakers)
Instruments (specifically: "A" clarinet, oboe, bassoon)
Instrument accessories (strings, shoulder rests, reeds, rosin, string mutes)
String bows
Pianos: If you have a piano you are interested in donating, we will have our piano technician come and evaluate the instrument. If it is determined that the piano would be helpful here at MYAC, we will discuss next steps with you regarding moving the instrument.
