2026 MYAC Gala: A Night Among the Stars
Thanks to the extraordinary generosity of our community, including nearly 100 silent auction items such as a luxury trip to Peru, a front-row VIP night at Ravinia, and many more cultural, lifestyle, and dining experiences, the evening raised more than $175,000 to support MYAC students. These funds help sustain scholarships and financial aid, support our exceptional artist faculty, and bring inspiring concert experiences to life.

Music filled every corner of the event. A moving cello choir tribute featuring both students and alumni honored renowned pedagogue Hans Jørgen Jensen, recipient of this year’s Golden Baton Award in recognition of his decades of mentorship and influence on generations of cello students. The gala also celebrated Eric Falberg, Will Tippens, and J Schneider, who received the Take Note Award for their leadership and dedication to advancing the MYAC Symphony Center proposal, which passed the Highwood City Council last summer.
