The Music & Movement Center at MYAC

The Music and Movement Center at MYAC provides a nurturing musical environment for both child and adult. Musical play through singing and dancing together under the facilitation of the teacher is process oriented. Using a variety of musical styles, both live and recorded, gives the participants an avenue to express the joy of music and to explore and grow together. So get ready to sing and dance and play! The classes are taught by Teddi Koch, an experienced, talented and creative educator, renowned for working with very young children.

Sibling Policy
Siblings that are under six months are welcome in an older sibling's class at no extra cost. Attending children six months and older should be registered for the class. You may register a younger sibling for any older sibling's class at the discretion of the director. Older siblings will not be permitted in a younger siblings' class.

Independent (No Parent) Classes
All pre-school (3 years and older) students attend classes independently without parents present.

Make-up Policy
You are allowed to make-up one class per session if scheduling is available. Make-up classes must be approved. Make-up classes must be in the same age group the child is currently in and it must be in the same session. Make-ups do not carry over into the next session. Prior notice is required for the safety and education of all participants. Please contact Paula Diethrich at pauladiethrich@mya.org or call 847-926-9898.
